I love the McClards. They are as bright as the sun and they make me ridiculously happy.

Lucy: Seven Months

Lucy is seven months old! Welcome to the Golden Age. She is happy. Pictured above is Lucy's Smile. It's all hers. If you are fortunate enough to witness it in person, the wrinkled nose and the blessed snort, your heart will explode with joy.

Lucy can sit on her own now. She likes avocados and Peach Noosa Yoghurt. She is a babbler and most conversations with her sound like, "A da da da da da. Na? Na na?" And then she blows a raspberry.  She wants to touch everything and implores a strong lean and goose-like grunts to get you to hand her something, anything, now.

Her hair is still so red. It is a soft, fiery explosion on her head and without a barret to hold it back it hangs in yogurt covered tassels overs her eyes.

Lucy is a bright, cuddly, sparkling happy baby bomb and I love this month of her life so much.

Louisa

It was an honor to shoot Louisa's First Communion portrait. I've only done one other. Louisa has a twin brother and they are classmates of Penn's and live a few streets over. Joe didn't have to get his portrait taken because dress-up clothes are icky and his parents are very nice.

Light Tests

I love using the kids as my light test when setting up for a shoot. Looking at these made me reminisce on the many light tests I did with Penn and Margot.

Bijoux

I photographed Bijoux for the current issue of Modern Luxury Magazine. I was really impressed with the creativity of these plates!
