I shoot weddings.
An account of my personal and professional life as a photographer in Dallas, Texas.
Here's what you look like when you're not afraid of the camera.
Saw Salim at All Good for the first time acoustically. Wows. Seriously, all that time listening to the full band I was obviously missing some things. A man and his guitar and a message are simply beautiful.

All of my work is based on word of mouth. I am so grateful for all of the glowing recommendations! Because, at the end of the shoot, you're trapped in my hard drive forever and I and my hard drive are pretty tight.
Space Studio is getting a new web look. I think it's fabulous! Amazing job. If they haven't already, Hal and the team are going to blow you away really soon. I am still completely humbled and honored to be part of that team. (really, omg!) Hal has magical motivating energy that makes you want everything good for everyone you know and then throws out faith and opportunity to combine your artistic tools with others and the universe to actually make it happen.
This old mirror gave a nice reflection of my set up in Lavendou's this weekend.
Then this this guy came out of nowhere! Kidding. Big thanks to Alex for making the long and special trip to bring me my forgotten light stand. I owe you dinner.
The best part of our neighborhood is being two blocks from Norbuck Park. There's one really long hilly open trail that runs from Van Dyke Street to Northwest Hwy and at the right time I make a lot of new friends and walk my dog with fellow neighbors. And at the other right time Ringo and I are the only ones out there and I can let him run, because the dog, he likes. to. run. fast.
And then he likes to roll. And then he erupts into a series of sneezes because he's allergic to the world and the tiny seeds that he forces up his nose during his full speed sprints to nowhere.
Cash is bringing sexy back.
There's really nothing I can say about a picture of a dog named Cash with her head between my legs that doesn't sound dirty, so I won't say anything about how my first thought for a caption was, "I was out in Space with Cash in my crotch" or how maybe that would make a great line for a rap song.
Sure, photography is both my passion and my occupation, but it comes with even more perks. Like spending my weekends with amazing families and being part of their memories.
Sometimes it also comes with a little party. Standing alongside the rim of so much dancing and happy is enormously entertaining.
About ten minutes after jokingly warning my assistant, Benito, that occasionally we're forced to dance, the pretty ladies pulled him onto the floor.
